Festivals in the Temple

  • Makara Sankranti: This festival is celebrated on 14th January of every year.
  • Shivaratri:On this day Special Poojas, sevas, Ekadhasha Rudrabhishekha are performed in the temple on the day of Mahashivarathri which is considered to be most auspicious day for Lord Shiva.
  • Vishu Sankramana:On this day Vishu kani is placed and special Puja is performed to god.
  • Nagara Panchami:On Panchami Tithi of Shraavana Month. Special Pooja and Naga Thambila is performed to lord Naga
  • Ganesha Chaturthi: The Appa Kajjaya is made for nevaidya and Special Pooja is performed to lord Ganesha
  • Navarathri Pooja: From Paadya Tithi of Ashwayuja Shukla Paksha to Navami Tithi Special Durga Devi Pooja is performed for 9 days.
  • Deepavali:Special Puja's to shiva is performed on this day and Vehicle Pooja's are also performed on these days
  • Dhanurmasa:This is held in the month of mid december to mid January. During this days Special naivedya's and puja's are performed to lord shiva early morning
  • Annual Jaathrotsava: The Annual Jathrosthava is held on march 19th and 20th of every year. On 26th of March Kallurthi-Kalkuda Nemothsava is Performed
